From the beginning, Jesus’ church has been marked by a BLEND of AMAZING things, DIFFICULT things, and an unwavering FOCUS on the MAIN thing.

We praise God when things go well…

• When SINNERS BELIEVE the gospel (Luke 15:7)
• When TRUE MINISTRY is LIVED OUT among us (1 Thessalonians 1:2-8)
• When He DELIVERS us from TRIALS (2 Corinthians 1:10)

We expect to encounter challenging things…

• Because PEOPLE will SIN against us (Matthew 6:14-15)
• Because the ENEMY will FIGHT against us (1 Peter 5:8)
• Because TRIALS will often PERPLEX us (2 Corinthians 4:8-9)

Through it all, we don’t give up on the main thing.

• We keep PROCLAIMING the message of CHRIST (Colossians 1:28-29)
• We STICK TOGETHER with the body of Christ (Philippians 1:27)
• No matter what, we KEEP REJOICING that we BELONG to Christ (Matthew 5:11-12)
