1. The gospel and the promises of God should not DIMINISH our PRAYERFULNESS but ENERGIZE it!

2. UNIFIED prayerfulness has been a FOUNDATIONAL aspect of the church’s MISSION since its INCEPTION.

3. CORPORATE prayer is particularly FITTING as the church enters a new SEASON with NEED for God’s DIRECTION.

4. Seeking God’s WILL in prayer should always involve 3 key elements: SCRIPTURE, WISDOM, and the GUIDANCE of the HOLY SPIRIT.

Christian married couples are to view sex not as PRUDES or PAGANS but as those who know it is a POWERFUL PORTRAYAL of PERFECT, eternal INTIMACY with God.
3 Rules for Fulfilling Sex:
Have sex on PURPOSE. (Hebrews 13:4)
- It generates PRAISE unto God.
- It is the PINNACLE of marital intimacy.
- It is for the PRODUCTION of children.
- It is a PROTECTION from sin.
Have sex for PLEASURE. (Song of Solomon 4:9-11)
- It should always be a POWERFUL ecstasy.
- It should often be PLAYFUL.
Have sex within God’s PARAMETERS. (Matthew 5:27-30, 1 Corinthians 7:1-5)
- It should only be PERFORMED in the confines of marriage.
- It should be PURE.
- It should be PUNCTUAL, PERPETUAL and mutually PERMISSIVE.

The most important means of CELEBRATING ‘Christmas’ is NOT giving GIFTS to ONE ANOTHER; it is attempting to EXPRESS our awe and humble GRATITUDE for GOD'S inexpressible GIFT, through SINGING.
1. Singing EXISTS because some REALITIES are too WONDERFUL for God-CONSCIOUS beings to KNOW and merely TALK about.

2. Because Christians know God, there are ENDLESS OPPORTUNITIES to SING about His glorious CHARACTER and WORKS.

1. Is it a matter of SIN?

3. QUICKLY and GENTLY confront the issue for the purpose of RECONCILIATION.

4. MEDITATE on the GOSPEL and FORGIVE as Jesus FORGIVES.

Other Considerations on Forgiveness:
Forgiveness is not EXCUSING SIN.

The most critical contribution to a fulfilling marriage is to find ULTIMATE FULFILLMENT in your FAITH, NOT in your MARRIAGE.
 
How FAITH Functions in Good and Godly Marriages:
 
1. God DESIGNED marriage as the FUNDAMENTAL building block of human SOCIETY and a profound REFLECTION of the GOSPEL.
 
To acknowledge God as God and then seek to live as He has prescribed is an act of FAITH!

2. Marriage is a LIFELONG COVENANT relationship that will entail A LOT of SINNING and SUFFERING.
 
It requires FAITH to admit and endure this!

3. The main PRACTICAL use of marriage is TEMPORARY: COMPANIONSHIP in a life of SANCTIFICATION and MISSION on our way to the marriage SUPPER of the LAMB.
 
Only FAITH can hear this and be filled with unshakable joy!
